Cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies help websites remember information, measure activity, deliver media, and support advertising.
Technologies used on Stories
- Required and security technologies support page delivery, stability, abuse prevention, and administrative sessions.
- Google Analytics may use identifiers such as the
_gacookie to distinguish browsers and report site usage. - Advertising technologies from MGID, Google, or their partners may select and measure ads, prevent fraud, and limit repeated ads.
- YouTube embeds can contact Google/YouTube when video features load or are used.
Automatic loading
Stories does not currently offer an on-site consent banner or cookie-settings panel. Non-essential analytics, advertising, and media technologies may load automatically. Deleting a cookie does not prevent a provider from setting it again on a later visit.
Your controls
Most browsers can block or delete cookies, restrict third-party storage, clear site data, and limit tracking. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, Google advertising controls, and the controls described in the MGID Privacy Notice.
Blocking scripts, storage, or embeds may prevent videos, preferences, or other features from working.
