Stories is an independent online publication dedicated to short, emotionally powerful reads and to coverage of the entertainment that gets people talking. We launched with one simple idea: a good story, told well, is still the best thing on the internet.
What We Publish
Our library is built around a few things we care about deeply. Dramatic short stories make up the heart of the site — narrative reads about family loyalty, quiet courage, unexpected justice and the moments that change an ordinary day. Entertainment coverage follows the talent shows, performances and viral moments our readers are already watching, with recaps and highlights written for people who want the story behind the applause. We also publish occasional food and lifestyle features, including recipes worth keeping.
Our Editorial Approach
We believe readers deserve to know exactly what they are reading, so we are direct about it. The short stories published on this site are narrative fiction created for entertainment. They are inspired by universal human situations, but the characters, names, dialogue and events are dramatized and should not be read as reporting on real individuals or real incidents.
Our entertainment articles are different. Those are based on publicly broadcast episodes, official announcements and other publicly available material, and we aim to describe what aired accurately. If we get something wrong, we want to fix it — corrections are welcome and we act on them.
